Timothy Motto, Tim always wanted to know what he could do to help a fellow officer. He provided support whenever a brave family member of blue was lost.
Fully aware of the danger, Tim went to ground zero without hesitation. In doing so, he was taken too early from us.
On Saturday September 24th 2022, at 10-30am at 28th Avenue and Ulmer Street. The naming ceremony took place for P.O. Timothy Motto Way. The ceremony started off by the Colors, National Anthem. The following spoke Council Member Vikie Paladino, who sponsored the street naming bill in the council, she went on to say she, she stands with NYPD Officer Timothy Motto and all the NYPD Officers.
Timmy Motto, made it his passion to help slain Patrolman Phillip Cardillo’s family. He procured radio cars to transport the family to many events.
