On Feb 29th 2024, Diana had her own fashion, a little after New York Fashion Show 2024, at 450 West 37th Street Event space, close to 300 people were in attendance, from all over the world to come and support Diane and some of the Designers who were also showcasing their lines, which included German designer Jean Koute Bag and Clothes designer. Nardos Spring Summer 2024 collection fashion show: Nardos Imam is a renowned fashion designer who has developed a strong reputation for creating high-end, luxurious, and elegant garments. She was born and raised in Eritrea, where she was surrounded by sound of her mother’s sewing, inspiring her to pursue a career in the fashion industry when she moved to the United States. After graduating, she began her career working at Richard Brooks—a luxe fabric stores in Dallas.
In 2012, Nardos decided to launch her own fashion house – NARDOS Couture. Her designs have been seen on many celebrities, making her one of the most sought-after designers for evening wear, couture and bridal wear, ready-to-wear clothing and accessories. I am glad to say New York Fashion Week, September 2023 was back in full force, I got so many invites to almost every show one can think of and was humanely impossible to attend each and every show. It reminded me of my early days, before COVID-19. We have been covering NYFW for 20 years.

Harlem Fashion Row Style Awards & Fashion Show & VIP Party -2023 at the Iconic Apollo Theatre in the Heart of Harlem: Harlem’s Fashion Row Celebrated Its 16th Annual Style Awards and Runway Show, Harlem Fashion Row—the organization founded by Brandice Daniel.
Devoted to uplifting and supporting Black and Latinx talent in fashion which included the following honoree’s: On stage, awards were collected by rapper A$AP Rocky, singer Kelly Rowland, stylists Wayman + Micah, photographer Johnny Nuñez, editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, and designer Stella Jean.
Nicole Benefield Portfolio, A. Potts, and Megan Renee all showed new collections on the catwalk, too.
Lastly, rapper A$AP Rocky Father of Rihanna’s 2 Boys.
Collected the Virgil Abloh Award presented by LVMH, and he spoke of his personal relationship with the late designer. “Virgil discovered us, [the A$AP Mob crew], before I got my record deal. Virgil went on to design my first album cover and first tour.”
The Walt Disney Company, LVMH, and AT&T, among others, as sponsors. 50th anniversary of hip-hop, and aimed to celebrate the Black creatives who are shaping the current fashion landscape with their unique work.
I am honored to call Brandice Daniel founder of Harlem Fashion Row, a friend first of all and a brilliant woman who assembled a great time to give people of color an opportunity in the fashion world and sectors and at the same time give them a seat at the table.

Hi-Tech Moda Fashion Shows-2023 : The Event featured top emerging and established designers and boutiques from around the world, showcasing a unique blend of hi-tech and sustainable fashion. The day will be filled with various shows from designers like Kat Couture, Nita Belle’s Closet, Archie Brown, Elizabeth Cordela, and Eiffel Bleu, among others.
In addition to the fashion shows, there was a special presentation by Indigenous Designers: Ally’s Ribbons by Alyssia Sutherland and VIVIDUS RUNWAY by Tierra alyssia. This event is not just about fashion, it’s about celebrating diversity and creativity. Said its founder and Executive Producer Hi-Tech Moda, Ms. Pamela Privette.

Many of our participants have gone on to style celebrities, sell to boutiques and stores and even compete on Project Runway.

Had the pleasure of interviewing legendary, World Renowned Fashion Designer Dennis Basso, at his Spring /Summer Show -2024. A little about Dennis Basso:
In 1983, Mr. Basso was ready to launch his own business. He brought a new perspective to designing with fur… treating fur like a fluid fabric; lighter, with more sinuous silhouettes, and bolder in coloration and patterns.
There was consistent press adulation and socially influential women, no matter their generation, sought out a Dennis Basso fur for their wardrobe.
As his business grew, it was a natural evolution for Mr. Basso to design ready-to-wear. With his signature verve and attention to glamorous styling, the distinctive day and evening looks were a perfect complement to the furs.
In 2002, Mr. Basso opened his first freestanding boutique, at the prestigious Little Nell Hotel in Aspen, which was followed by the 2003 opening of his original flagship on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Dennis Basso collections were also expanding globally, with an in-store boutique at Harrods.
Since 2007, Dennis Basso has been a closely watched presence on the runway at New York Fashion Week, drawing top media, NY tastemakers and Hollywood celebrities. Dennis Basso designs have been prominently seen on screen: worn by both Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones in “Chicago”; by Meryl Streep in “The Devil Wears Prada”, Nicole Kidman in “Nine”, and Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
His designs have graced the red carpet on a bevy of celebrities: Hayden Panettiere, Emmy Rossum, Helen Mirren, Tyne Daly, Angela Bassett, Mary J. Blige, Catherine Zeta Jones, Brooke Sheilds, Sarah Rafferty, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Robin Roberts, Katie Couric and Olivia Palermo to name a few.
Mr. Basso believes that women should have access to a quality, sophisticated wardrobe. With that in mind, two decades ago, he embarked on a major collaboration with QVC, presenting faux furs, ready-to-wear, and accessories, and, subsequently, a home collection. Dennis Basso’s most recent brand extension, in 2011, was the launch of an exclusive collection of bridal designs for the esteemed Kleinfeld Bridal salon in New York City.
Last year, Dennis Basso opened a sleek new flagship located at 825 Madison Avenue in a landmark building. The five story townhouse is an expansive 10,500 square feet and presents, in pure Dennis Basso glamour, the designer’s extensive collections of furs, ready-to-wear, and accessories.
Mr. Basso was educated at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. A respected voice and supporter of the fashion industry, he is a long-standing member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America. In 2013, Dennis Basso was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in recognition of his talent, vision, and business acumen.
Hundreds of people were in attendance, to view Dennis basso’s Spring/Summer 2024, a couple seating next to me came all the way from Italy, to see his new line, and the wife went on to say, that she had picked a dress one of the models was wearing and will have her husband buy it for her for her anniversary. Dennis Basso, is truly an icon in the fashion world, a brilliant mind who can create anything in the fashion world.

Adrian Alicea: The Adrian Alicea brand represents an orgy of defiance. Absolution without the fear of retribution. The temerity of Adrian Alicea is only surpassed by the precise execution of his vision.
Adrian Alicea is a new romantic of romantic excesses. Creating a pirate-like fairy-tale of disguises, he walks a tightrope between ironic hedonistic inclination and highly serious commentary. There is an insane carcinogenic, merciless narcissism. There is a deafening, endless shout
of “gimme more!” – Earl Murray. Adrian’s inspiration comes from his strong familial roots in Puerto Rico. The essence of his beautiful mother is etched into every design. Mr. Alicea was also blessed with nine sisters of whom have provided him with the depth of understanding the female form. The fact that he also has real human frailties make him greater than is realized by those who are not able to see through the fog of adulation. His human experience transcends into an emotional confluence felt by every being that adorns his designs. Having been a model himself, he was first discovered at the iconic nightclub “The Tunnel” by Rae Dawn Chong who invited him to walk for Thierry Mugler’s couture show in Paris.
From there his career took off and with persistent effort continued working with the masters of Europe: Hermes, Giorgio Armani, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Gianfranco Ferre, Vivienne Westwood, and Patricia Fields and graced the stage with notable supermodels Iman, Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Debra Shaw, Veruschka von Lehndorff, to name a few. Adrian Alicea has also been featured on the cover of Italian Vogue and has had editorial spreads in major publications like Vibe. He’d eventually tour the world as a professional dancer alongside the legendary Willi Ninja and Grace Jones. This led to two electrifying performances in “Deep in Vogue” and “Waltz Darling” by the multi-talented Malcolm McClaren. He is currently featured in the CAMP Expedition at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art, Manhattan, New York and was presented with the Emerging New Designer Award at the Cinema Film Fashion Awards 2017, Beverly Hills, California alongside Akon, Sidney Poitier and Samuel L. Jackson. Adrian has styled and dressed the likes of many A List celebrities. Larisa Martine, of whom shared the stage with Grammy Award Winner, Joshua Bell at the 60th Lincoln Center Anniversary hosted by Neil Patrick Harris wore one of his stunning designs. He has also dressed and styled celebrities like Zoe Saldana and Nick Cannon.
The House Of Alicea was born out of his life-time love affair with Avant-garde fashion and the purest freedom of an artist. Adrian sews from hand like a sculptor as he shapes and molds each fabric to fit the human form with such care to the ornate details he creates in each design. The fashion industry has become commercial and lackluster at best with mass-produced designs. Adrian Alicea has a style all his own that is unique and filled with the power to transform this industry back to a time when living breathing artistic beauty of all forms graced the stage. His designs bring forth an explosive amalgamation of emotions that will take your breath away and leaving you screaming for more. Adrian Alicea is that of a demigod. This mythical creature has the innate ability to forge a cult-like dance of the obscure bathed in overt obscenity, and emblazoned in provocative aggression dripping in hedonistic ecstasy. Art Hearts Fashion shows were absolutely brilliant, spread over 3 days at the Iconic Ziegfield Ballroom, also showing of Art alongside many famous and upcoming artists, money was raised for Northwell Health to build a hospital for people with mental disabilities. The Show had a little bit of everything. I would go ahead and say it was one of the best Shows of Feb 2022, well organized, staff and volunteers were very highly professional.

This year’s annual Indie Fashion Gala will be hosted at the historic Murray Hill New Church Mansion located at 114 E 35th St, New York, NY 10016.
Located at East 35th Street and Park Avenue in one of Manhattan’s most charming and picturesque sections, also known as Murray Hill, the Neo-Renaissance inspired building sits on a 77-foot wide lot, set back from the street, allowing for an elegant front garden perfect for our guest’s red carpet entrance.
The home for the New York Society, the historic mansion was built in 1859 by followers of Emanuel Swedenborg, the Swedish religious philosopher.
Rich with artistic culture and history, we look forward to honoring and celebrating a new generation of independent artists and entrepreneurs this upcoming November 13th 2021.

We at World Liberty TV, are very proud that we were nominated for the Best Indie Publication Award 2021, against many worthy magazines who showcase fashion articles in their publications. I was very shocked that World Liberty TV, Fashion Channel, Blogs and Photo gallery, won the Best Indie Publication Award 2021. Our Publisher, Dr. Abbey who accepted the award on behalf of World Liberty TV, team.
Made a very heartwarming speech, he went on to say, I lost my mother 7 weeks ago to Cancer and I am picking up this award in her honor, he went on to say his mother was his inspiration for starting the Fashion channel and motivated him in covering many events in the fashion sector. He finished off thanking Mr Preston Walker and his nomination committee for the Indie Fashion Calendar.
Mr Preston went on to say, this is an award Dr. Abbey richly deserves and worked very hard in the fashion sector showcasing many people and giving them positive publicity and exposure in their World Liberty TV, I also appreciate World Liberty TV, covering our Small Boutique Fashion Week shows throughout the years.
