Barbara Corcoran, an American businesswoman, investor, syndicated columnist, and television personality. She founded.

The Corcoran Group, a real estate brokerage in New York City, which she sold to NRT for $66 million in 2001 and shortly thereafter exited the company.

One of the show’s original “Shark” investors, Corcoran has appeared in all 14 seasons of ABC’s Shark Tank to date.  As of January 2023, she has made 130 deals on the show, the largest being a $350,000 investment for 40% of Coverplay.

Alex Rodriguez: While best known as one of the world’s greatest athletes (a 14x MLB All-Star and a 2009 World Series Champion with the New York Yankees), for more than 25 years, Alex leads a team of experts building high-growth businesses and is co-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Marcus Lemonis: Many know him as the “business turnaround king” and star of CNBC’s prime time reality series The Profit. His biggest business success is as the chairman and CEO of Camping World, the nation’s largest RV and outdoor retailer, and Good Sam, the world’s largest RV owner’s organization.

Eddie Wilson: American businessman who is known as the “King of Exits.” He has owned over 125 companies and exited over 85 of them successfully. Eddie is also known for creating an operating system that manages the growth of his companies systematically allowing him the greatest odds for success.

Andrew Cordle: Sales Expert with over $300 million in personal sales. He has spoke on stage in over 35 different countries teaching 10’s of thousands the Money Playbook of the 1%. He is the founder of the PE firm Collective Influence which is currently valued at over 400 million.

Jen Gottlieb: powerhouse entrepreneur, international speaker, host of the I Dare You Podcast, and co-founder of Super Connector Media – an award-winning training, events, and online education company. With a successful five-year stint as a VH1 host and a career as a Broadway actress, Jen has been making waves in the entrepreneurial world by teaching business owners how to build profitable brands and become “The Recognized Expert” in their field.

45th Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Conference-2023

Renowned hospitality industry and business leaders and influencers from around the globe will convene once again at the 45th Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, hosted by the NYU School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality.

The premier hospitality finance and development forum of its kind, the Conference features presentations by global hotel CEOs, owners, developers, investors, lenders, analysts, and other innovators on current issues and trends in the industry.

The event raises funds for student scholarships and educational programs at the Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality, which has educated the next generation of industry leaders for over 25 years.

Nicolas Graf, Jonathan M. Tisch Chaired Professor and associate dean of the NYU SPS Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality, kicks off the first day by welcoming attendees to the Conference, which is packed with high-energy panels, informative breakout sessions, and networking opportunities.

Then, Jonathan M. Tisch, executive chairman, Loews Hotels, co-chairman of the board, Loews, who serves as conference chair, officially opens the conference by sharing timely updates on recent developments and trends in the industry and providing a preview of what’s to come at this year’s conference.

On Monday, June 5, The CEOs Check-In: A View from the Top, a highlight of the annual conference, will feature leading hospitality executives discussing the evolving investment landscape and the changing consumer base, as well as how the competition is pressing them to focus their brands and differentiate their companies. Sara Eisen, anchor, “Closing Bell,” CNBC, will moderate the discussion with:

On Tuesday, June 6, “The Leaders Check-In Part Two: The Top In Class Share What’s Top of Mind,” moderated by Jeanelle Johnson, principal and lead client partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), will feature a discussion with: Michael D. Brown, president and chief executive officer, Travel + Leisure Co., Bruno Chauvat, chief executive officer, Travelsify,  Larry Cuculic, president and chief executive officer, Best Western Hotels and Resorts, Michael J. Deitemeyer, president and chief executive officer, Aimbridge Hospitality and  Greg Juceam, president and chief executive officer, Extended Stay America.

In addition, the Conference features 15 other general session discussions and more than 20 concurrent workshops focused on various specialized industry topics, allowing attendees to customize their event experience while gaining critical industry information from interactive panel discussions.

The America Hotel Association Corp is working with the reputable Manhattan law firm fordoing an annual real estate tax appeal. The fee is only 10% on the amount being successfully reduced. It is much lower than regular fee, which is usually charged 15% to 25%. Finishing touches are wrapping up on the Virgin Hotel, a 38-story tower at 1225 Broadway in NoMad. Designed by Stantec and developed by Lam Group, the 476-foot-tall structure will yield 300,000 square feet with 460 rooms managed by .
