Parent support is not a new phenomenon, but My Time Inc. is bringing a new and dynamic perspective to it.

The Mission of My Time Inc. is to Support, Educate, Empower, Enlighten and Uplift parents of a child diagnosed with Autism and Developmental Disabilities to live a quality of life they deserve in their community.

Henceforth, since 2007, My Time Inc. have hosted this event at the elegant Russo’s on the Bay to honor our parents who work tirelessly while trying to secure services for their loved ones with Autism or Developmental Disabilities.

We would like to acknowledge this year’s honorees: Tiffany Caldwell winner of Patrick Dalton award, Nicole Hayes , Parent award winner, Nicole Alvarez, winner Ester Wilson award and Lorna Bailey winner of Winston Boyd award.

Executive Director and Co-Founder Lucina Clarke who is the thread that is woven deep within the fabric of My Time Inc. and can be described as an innovator due to the creation of a service that is a vital component to a parent of a child with Autism and Developmental Disabilities.

In retrospect, she has been on a journey of great proportion capturing the attention of her peers as well as those who perpetuate humanity while bringing attention to parent support.

She has won several awards including The Brooke Russell Astor Award in 2008 and several citations for city and state.

Your dedication to supporting and nurturing a child with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities is an inspiration to us all.

Your unwavering commitment to yourself and child’s well-being is a beacon of hope and light. Your patience, understanding, and endless determination illuminate a path for others, showcasing the power of unconditional love in advocating for your children.

Remember, it’s okay to feel overwhelmed at times. Your Journey may seem like an uphill challenge, but your enduring spirit and perseverance are the rays of hope and light that guide you and your child through their unique pathway.

You are not alone. Reach out to your support network, like My Time Inc to seek help, and remember to care for yourselves. Embrace the journey, celebrate the victories –big or small –and find strength in each other.

Your Child is a testament to your love, an embodiment of your unwavering dedication. Your family’s story is one of bravery, resilience and above all boundless love.

You are the true beacons of light in your child’s world as well as yourself. Keep shining. Shine your light bright for all to see. With Admiration and Support.

Close to 300 people were in attendance, Dignitaries included: Consulate general of Barbados office representatives, Video recorded message by Hakeem Jeffries, Minority Leader of the U.S House of Representatives, praising the great work My Time Inc, is doing for the community, which the congress man serves.

Other Dignitaries included: Assembly member Jaime R. Williams Assembly District 59, Council Member Mercedes Narcisse is a registered nurse who represents the 46th Council District in Brooklyn, Monique Chandler-Waterman, New York’s 58th State Assembly district is one of the 150 districts in the New York State Assembly.

Assembly Member Waterman, presented a citation to each of the honoree’s and presented a check for $60,000 (Sixty Thousand Dollars) to My Time inc, to continue the great work they are doing with their organization. Music by by DJ Kayla D.
