Huawei’s Honor sub-brand launched the Honor 6X for the European and US market. The $249 handset features a dual-camera setup at the rear, which up until now was only found in phones priced above the $400 range. Oh, and Huawei says that it is targeting the millennial.
The budget handset from Honor features a 5.5-inch Full HD screen. It is powered by Huawei’s own octa-core Kirin 655 chipset clocked at 2.1GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a microSD card slot. The 8.2mm thick phone also features a 3340mAh battery that is enough to make it last up to two days on a single charge.
Huawei will be offering the Honor 6X in three colors: gold, silver, and gray. The 3GB variant of the phone goes on sale in markets like the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Russia from January 4, with the 4GB version to follow.
