We are very proud to attend NY NOW, before that the Gift show for the past 15 years, this year was a special year for our World Liberty TV, Gift and Housewares team, because of COVID-19 Pandemic. So we are doing a little something special for some of the vendors we interviewed at the NY NOW, summer 2021 Show. We will do a review of their products, please support them by visiting their websites and buying their products as most of them have been struggling to make sales, many of the vendors we interviewed are helping a charity or a non-profit organization, so some of the sales will be donated to the charities.

Below is a list of some of the vendors we are showcasing for our NY NOW Summer 2021, Show:

Ron and Mary Ober, Founders: Ron was inspired to start Revy after a trip to El Salvador in 2009. He and Mary grew the company together for ten years, and she continues to lead Revy following his passing in November 2019.

Revy Fair Trade’s Origin:Revy was founded in 2009 after a chance encounter between our founder, Ron Ober, and a non-profit organization seeking a way into the American market. Ron was a recently retired entrepreneur, working as a human rights volunteer in Cleveland, Ohio when he connected with CRISPAZ (Christians for Peace in El Salvador) and caught wind of their dilemma: craftspeople in El Salvador wanted to sell their wares in the U.S., but weren’t sure how or where to start. Ron stepped up, offering his unique skill set as a way to get things rolling, and was quickly captivated by the inspiring stories of people striving against adversity to improve their circumstances and elevate their communities. Ron founded Revy Fair Trade shortly thereafter to act as a reliable partner in their endeavors.

For more than a decade, Ron and Mary Ober have worked closely with artisans in El Salvador to bring their creations to fair-minded shoppers. When Ron passed away in November 2019 following a battle with cancer, Mary felt compelled to continue his legacy with Revy Fair Trade.
