Interview with Kevin Sorbo Actor of TV Series Hercules-2019

Kevin David Sorbo is an American actor. He had starring roles in two television series: as Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and as Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda.

In 1994, he got his breakthrough leading role as the Ancient Greek mythical demigod Hercules in a series of five television films which aired as part of Universal Television’s Action Pack.

The first film was Hercules and the Amazon Women which aired in April and the fifth film Hercules in the Maze of the Minotaur aired in November.

The ratings success of these films paved the way for the commissioning of the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys which started airing in syndication from January 1995 and ran for six seasons. The series made Sorbo an international star and was one of the highest rated syndicated television shows at the time.

In late 1997 while on a publicity tour for Kull the Conqueror and between the fourth and fifth seasons of Hercules, the newly engaged Sorbo experienced an aneurysm in his shoulder which caused four strokes.

As a result, he was weakened for the next several years, a condition kept secret from the public while he recovered. During the last two seasons of Hercules (the fifth and sixth, which aired in 1998 and 1999), Sorbo had a reduced filming schedule to accommodate his condition, and more guest stars were featured in the show in order to reduce Sorbo’s duties.

The strokes, thought to be triggered when chiropractic manipulation of his shoulder released blood clots from the aneurysm, left Sorbo with a permanent 10 percent vision loss, weakness, impaired balance, and migraines. In his 2011 autobiography True Strength, Sorbo revealed the details of his injury and how his wife Sam helped him recover.

Vieri was named in the FIFA 100, a list of the 125 .

greatest living footballers selected by Pelé as a part of FIFA’s centenary celebrations.

A prolific goalscorer, for a number of years, he was regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe, leading to him becoming the world’s most expensive player in 1999 when Inter Milan paid Lazio £32 million (€43 million) for his services.

At international level, Vieri scored 23 goals in 49 appearances for Italy between 1997 and 2005, and is the joint ninth-highest goalscorer for his national team, alongside Francesco Graziani. He is also Italy’s highest ever goalscorer in the FIFA World Cup, along with .

Roberto Baggio and Paolo Rossi, with a combined nine goals from nine matches at the 1998 and 2002 editions of the tournament; he also took part at Euro 2004.

GUBA Awards USA 2019

The United States is truly a remarkable place. It is touted as the greatest nation on earth, not because of its military might or size of its economic, but because it is the land where people of different social, religious and racial backgrounds came together to create a remarkable success story…and then the rest of the world followed.

The African diaspora is part of the success story of the United States; their hard work and determination to create a brighter future for their children and grandchildren have been felt for centuries – from slaves singing songs of freedom on plantations many centuries ago, to free men and women shaping the world of business, sports, technology and politics today.

This is worth celebrating. This is why GUBA Awards is in the United States – to celebrate the achievements of Ghanaians and African business and individuals based in the United States.

GUBA Awards promotes closer economic, cultural and social links between Ghana and the United Kingdom. Launched in 2010 as the GUBA Awards, the annual event celebrates and acknowledges the contribution of Ghanaian and African based businesses and individuals in the United Kingdom.
