3rd Annual Kids Rock Fashion Show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week-2015

The show kicked off with an introduction to The Carmelo Anthony Foundation, along with a high-powered performance by Carly Rose Sonenclar.

Sitting front row, Carmelo and LaLa Anthony, Devon Still, CC and Amber Sabathia, Victor Cruz, Prince Fielder, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Hoda Kotb and more as some of the athletes watched their kids hit the runway in looks from Nike, Levi’s, Converse, Hurley, Nike SB and Jordan. The show closed with an inspiring appearance by Devon Still’s daughter Leah Still who shined on the runway while bringing awareness to the fight against pediatric cancer.

3D Printing and Printers Showcase at International CES – 2015

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that the 3D printing footprint at the 2015 International CES has doubled from the 2014 CES. Returning for its second year, the 3D Printing Marketplace, presented by TCT Magazine + Personalize, will feature more than 30 innovative companies showcasing the latest advancements in 3D printing technology. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2015 CES, the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, which ran January 6-9, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to CEA’s most recent U.S. Consumer Electronics Sales and Forecast report, sales of desktop 3D printers are expected to reach 67,000 units in 2014, earning $76 million in revenue, an increase of 43 percent over 2013. In total, 3D printing exhibits at the 2015 CES are expected to cover more than 14,000 net square feet of exhibit space, up from 7,200 net square feet at the 2014 CES.

“With huge advancements in digital technology, 3D printers are moving toward more compact units that are more suitable for consumers and capable of printing a variety of consumer goods, from toys and electronics to clothing, shoes and even food,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, International CES and corporate business strategy, CEA. “The vast expansion of the 3D printing footprint at the 2015 CES speaks to the category’s potential to become a major disruptor in the global economy, and confirms that CES is the platform to see the future of printing come to life.”

Robotics debut‘s at International CES 2015

The machine, called the Personal Robot, made its debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where its creators said it can track your calories after meals, call taxis when you leave work and take photos of you while you’re posing,

Robot base refers to the Personal Robot as a “revolutionary product that changes everything,” adding that it is the first company to combine deep learning and robotics.
Sensors are included so the robot can monitor its environment and perform tasks like checking in guests at hotels and telling children stories before they go to bed, the International Business Times reported. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity is also available, and the machine uses a single algorithm for computer vision and facial, emotion and pattern recognition.
