Oudifu Fashion Show at Mercedes Benz NYFW-2015

UDIFU is a Shanghai-based affordable luxury brand of ‘ready-to- wear’ woman’s apparel begun by it’s founder & creative directive Zhuliang Li in 2006.

In classical China’s 2300 year core, there is a philosophy that man is an integral part of nature. A strong expression of this ancient Chinese theory is the human lifestyle following up on the rules of nature, combining itself with it’s subject on an essential, serene, and ecstatic order.

Zhuliang Li is so strongly inspired by this belief that he adapted it into his fashion by designing a unique ‘all-in-one style’, for all body-types, in subtle sophisticated detail with distinction in silhouette. Li’s design and style emphasize on the relaxed, spontaneous, pleasant awareness. When you put ‘OUDIFU’ on, you bring modern humans closer to nature.

In 1981 at age 11, Zhuliang Li, the 7th of 8 children, was sent by his parents to a tailor to learn the fundamentals of design. Zhuliang Li never went to fashion school. This was how and when Zhuliang Li began his fashion passage, detailing styles for various individuals, as well as face-to-face communication with the customer, bequeathing himself with a deep sense of consciousness for different female body type configurations…their shapes, needs, and wants.

Accordingly, Zhuliang Li, gained numerous industry awards including CQGC ‘Best Fashion Brand 2009’, ‘Top 10 Chinese Fashion Designers 2011’, and ‘Top 10 Fashion Brands Shanghai International Fashion Festival 2012’.
His retail stores number 250 in major Chinese cities and markets.

Zhuliang Li is also recognized for his humanitarian endeavors such as donating towards the relief efforts of the Great Sichuan Earthquake 2008.

The Mercedes-Benz Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Week collection at Lincoln Center New York City was OUDIFU’s initial entry into the American Market as a mainland Chinese designer in the USA, bestowing the concept of ‘Elephants’ as a theme, to imply the connection between humans & nature, in accordance with the protection of vulnerable endangered species, that by protecting them, we save ourselves.

On February 16 at the A/W 2015 Mercedes-Benz Fashion
Week, OUDIFU made his 2nd presence at the New York Fashion Week, utilizing his latest theme, the extinct Wooly Mammoth, which once coexisted with early humans.

N.Hoolywood Fall 2015 Collection fashion Show -2015

N.Hoolywood’s Daisuke Obana is becoming an avid outdoorsman before our very eyes.
With that, a ski inspiration was born—not so much ski as a ski-military hybrid. Obana did some research and learned of a WWII-era mountain boot camp in Vail. The designer was moved by the story of one soldier, who, after being injured in the war overseas, returned to Colorado, where he qualified for the U.S. ski team—though he was unable to compete due to his war wound—and opened one of the most important ski resorts in the country.

So while Obana incorporated a sweet snowflake motif throughout, he mixed it with elements of cold-weather mountain training. Think funnel-neck thick parkas and jackets recalling army-surplus stores, a two-toned hooded duffle coat, faux-fur-lined pockets, a white and khaki ice-crystal camo print, blue jeans with gathered hems for heat retention, and a range of high-end après-ski knits in cream and speckled autumnal colors. Obana’s collaborations were done with various brands, including New Balance, Airwalk, Porter, and Avirex, the last producing a delectable glacier-white shearling coat, of which only 40 will be made.

NYFW Gallery Showcase of Designer ese AZeNABOR-2015

Esé Azénabor’s designs are inspired by the arts and her culture. They are daring, luxurious, extravagant, and shows her artistic side through her beading and attention to detail.
As the saying goes, Nigerian born Canadian transplant Esé Azénabor got to Texas as fast as she could. Her arrival on the fashion scene, however, required a few additional detours. But we think you’ll agree her creations were well worth the wait.

Hailing from a family who considered fashion design more of a hobby than a career, young Esé had to sweep her creative urges under the rug. The Azénabor name was grounded in the fields of medicine, law, and engineering, and she, in turn, attended the University of Windsor in Windsor in Ontario, Canada, and majored in accounting. A move to Dallas followed, to pursue a Masters Degree at Southern Methodist University, detoured to following her dreams and started designed handmade dresses for her self, friends and family. Since she was a little girl, Esé held to her mother’s belief in her talent for creating wearable art.

In 2012, without any financial assistance, this self-taught designer traded predictable college life for the wild world of fashion with the launch of her Self Titled ready-to-wear line. At her sewing machine, she conceptualized her fascination for heavy hand beading, crocheted lace, exquisite fabrics and embroidery. Inspired by a combination of vintage, African, Egyptian, and contemporary European influences, she merged cultures to create her debut of her Haute-Couture and Ready-to-wear luxurious collection. Esé has now debuted three collections and teamed up with her sister Dosé Azénabor to create her most recent SS15 Collection and today they are now partners for the fashion Label.

Esé Azénabor’s goal is to empower women through the art of fashion.
