American Kennels Club’s Meet the Breeds NYC-2025

The New York City’s AKC® Meet the Breeds®, Presented by Purina Pro Plan, coming to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Saturday, January 25th, and Sunday, January 26th, 2025.

Meet the Breeds

The American Kennel Club® (AKC) offers attendees the unique experience to meet and play with more than 100 different breeds of dogs with this two-day educational event.

Event goers will simultaneously learn about responsible pet ownership and how to find the best breed(s) for their lifestyle from experts. Bring along the family for some furry fun!.

Attendees can: Meet and play with over 1,000 different dogs and puppies in booths that depict each breed’s country of origin, historical purpose/function.

Discover new breeds and talk to breed experts to determine what dog would work best for their lifestyle. Learn about responsible pet ownership.

America’s favorite Dog Golden Retriever

See fun and entertaining demonstrations of dog sports and working dogs exhibiting their skills. Engage in unique activities in the kid’s zone such as testing your agility skills in our interactive fun zone. Attendees can also participate in games and photo opportunities with the whole family.

From Affenpinschers to Yorkshire Terriers and everything in between! AKC Meet the Breeds®, the nation’s largest educational dog extravaganza, gives dog lovers a unique opportunity to meet, play with, and learn about hundreds of dogs!

It was a well-attended event, close to 100 breeds of dogs in attendance, people from all over the World in attendance at this event.

It was so packed I remember bumping into many people as space was very tight. Close to 30 Thousand people attended last year, I would say 2025, there will be more people in attendance.
