Since our founding in 1978, Ronald McDonald House New York has provided temporary lodging and care for more than 35,000 families while their child battles cancer.
When families must travel to New York City for the advanced cancer treatment they can’t get anywhere else, they can find a loving place to stay at our House. We’re proud to provide a supportive, caring place that keeps families close when they need each other most.
Located on East 73rd Street in Manhattan and in close proximity to 13 major cancer treatment centers, Ronald McDonald House New York welcomes children and families from across the country and the world. The House can accommodate 84 families and is filled to capacity almost every night.
We ask families for a requested donation of just $35 a night — far less than the cost of a Manhattan hotel room. But no family is ever turned away just because they can’t afford to pay.
At our House, families are welcomed with love and comfort.
Lifelong friendships are formed among people who understand what it’s like to cope with such a devastating diagnosis. Here, families fighting cancer find the hope and support they need.
Ronald McDonald House New York provides temporary housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families in a strong, supportive and caring environment which encourages and nurtures the development of child-to-child and parent-to-parent support systems.
Ronald McDonald House New York’s 23rd Annual Skate with the Greats, you had a chance to mingle with stars from NHL’s New York Rangers Alumni! Attendees also enjoyed ice skating with the Rangers on the iconic Rockefeller Center rink, a live and a silent auction with much sought-after sports memorabilia, and an autograph session with some of their favorite Rangers players.
This event is made possible by the support of Hall of Famers and longtime volunteers Rod Gilbert and Brian Leetch, as well as many other Rangers Greats and RBC Capital Markets.
